Postpartum was hard for me. I was used to pushing myself in the gym to hit new PRs or train for a competition. When I became pregnant, I had to redefine what strength & fitness meant to me. At some point I knew I would be able to reclaim my identity as an athlete, but once I had my baby I needed a mixture of training that fun, functional, and sustainable for the phase of life I am currently in.
